RAM Forest Products Inc. is located in Vandorf, Ontario, Canada, about 30 km north of Toronto. Established in 1975, RAM Forest produces preservative treated and fire retardant treated wood products for the residential and industrial markets.

Residential wood products are treated with Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ) preservative to protect against rot, decay and termite attack. Products include dimension lumber for decks and fences; posts and timbers for decks, fence posts and landscaping; and wood accessories like fence caps, lattice and balusters for railings.

Industrial wood products are treated with Alkaline Copper Quarternary (ACQ) preservative and used in heavy duty applications like highway guardrail posts, highway sign posts and retaining walls. ACQ treated plywood is also manufactured for sheathing applications. The treatment quality is certified under the Canadian Wood Preservers Bureau (CWPB) Quality Insurance Program and products are marked as such.

Plywood and lumber can be treated with a fire retardant chemical (Dricon®) to provide products with fire and flame spread ratings where these products are required for building code compliance.

Residential wood products are sold through a network of retail building product dealers and big box retailers throughout Ontario. Commercial products are distributed through building product wholesalers and retailers throughout eastern Canada.
